He died on 31 May 1909 in Jubbulpore, Bengal India.  He was buried on 31 May 1909 in Jubbulpore, Bengal India. He was the son of John Richard Stroud (occ. Constable) and Jane ?. Children:

  1. Mary Matilda Stroud born on 4 June 1861 in Byculla-Bombay, Maharashtra India, died in 1891 in Bombay, Maharashtra India. 

  2. Frank Richard Stroud born on 15 June 1864 in Byculla-Bombay, Maharashtra India. He died on 31 May 1896 in Bombay, Maharashtra India. 

  3. Jane Stroud was born on 21 November 1865 in Byculla-Bombay, Maharashtra India.  She died on 5 February 1866 in Byculla-Bombay, Maharashtra India.

  1. Louisa Fannie May Farrow. Louisa Fannie May was born on 17 May 1869 in Tardeo India.  She died in March 1926 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. 

  2. Ida Florence Farrow. Ida Florence was born on 14 October 1870 in 6c Grant Rd, Bombay India. 

  3. Justin Richard Eastward Farrow. Justin Richard Eastward was born on 27 June 1872 in Girgaum India.

Desmond WELLS, married Shamrock Josephine Thelma BREEN (b 12/12/1922 CKP, studied at Dr Grahams Homes, Kalimpong, d 12/4/2002 UK) , children:

  1. Sandra Wells

Shamrock met and married Desmond while serving in the Army, and left India in 1947. She was widowed in 1978, and went to live with her only daughter and family after having a heart by-pass in 1995. She had an active social life until further heart problems slowed her down; she eventually died of heart failure aged 79. Her passing has left a big gap in the family. Sadly missed and always remembered.
