As a married woman, her full name was Maureen Mary Shand.  Her maiden name was Archibald.  Records show her parents ( her father was David Montgomery Archibald, born in Scotland, died in 1960 ) married in Bombay in 1920.  We have always thought Bombay was strange as her family lived in Calcutta.
