Patrick Joseph DOYLE  (born c.1850 Kilkenny, Ireland.  Served with the British Army in India.  Joined the British Army in 1868 aged 18 years) married Amelia REBEIRA on 7th May, 1881 at the Chapel of St. Joseph, Jubbulpore, India. (Amelia born c. 1862 in Jubbulpore.  Father's name listed as Francis REBEIRA, labourer.  Sailed for the Colonies (Australia) in March 1883 and arrived in April, 1883.  Arrived in Adelaide at that time.  Children all born in South Australia

  1. Patrick Joseph Doyle at Desitutre Asylum 30th July, 1883 Adelaide,

  2. Margaret Amelia Theresa Ann Doyle (born in Wirrabara on 4th October, 1885,)

  3. Agnes Mary Matilda Doyle born in Laura on 13th September, 1887,

  4. Thomas Jerome Doyle (born in Gladstone on 16th March, 1890,)

  5. James Bernard Doyle (born at Beetaloo Valley on 31st January, 1895.)
