BALL Family Tree
with links to British India
info from Nick Thomas nickthomas@speed-mail.co.uk
My grandfather, William (Billy) BALL, was born in the UK
at the turn of the last century. He emigrated to Mysore, South India, in the
year 1919. My family lost touch with him, but believe he set up home with a
local lady, and raised a family. If that is so, then I might have several
generations of relatives in India. He worked at the Kolar Gold Fields, at the
Oorgaum mine, as an engineer. All clues gratefully accepted.
Nick.
