William Thomas ABBEY (born Calcutta 6th May 1931, died London 24th Dec 1996) married Eunice ROSE.  William studied at St. Joseph's College, North Point & St. Xavier's College, Calcutta. His apprenticeship was completed at the IGN workshop, Hoogly, Calcutta. He emigrated to the UK in 1953 and worked for many years as a design draughtsman on important projects such as Concorde. Children:

1. Lawrence Abbey

2. Sonya Abbey (born 1966, Croydon, UK)

Sonya ABBEY (born 1966, Croydon, UK) married Carl Erwin STEVENAGE (born 1961 in Hammersmith, now living in Sydney) in 2000 at St. Jude’s Church, Randwick, NSW. No children, yet… our first is due in March.
